Our Springtime Ritual....

Springtime in my area is truly a beautiful thing. I live in an area that is surrounded by orchards. I love to take my girls to the orchards every year and take pictures of them. My older girls are not always around anymore for this. The thing is that it is sometimes hard to schedule the picture taking due to rain and wind. Once the wind hits all of the beautiful blossoms fall off of the trees. This year I timed it perfectly. Well perfectly that is for Holly.  The older girls were both working and were not able to join us. So there we were, Holly and I off on our quest to take some pictures in a beautiful orchard. The day turned out to be perfect in every way. We spotted our favorite orchard and then  we set off. I love to take pictures of my children while they are walking. It is just a nice reminder of watching them head off into  whatever it is they are doing.  Holly loves to explore the orchards. She always has.

 I love to watch her as she explores the beauty of Spring. We are in an Almond Orchard. The beautiful blossoms will soon turn into green trees. I did mention the window of opportunity is a short one when trying to take pictures with the trees in bloom.

Holly is a girl that LOVES to get her picture taken. This is definitely a good thing with me as her Mom. I am a huge photo taker. I love photography. Holly will rise to any occasion when it comes to having her picture taken. She would definitely be a good one with the paparazzi!

We had a great time on this beautiful afternoon. It was a good thing we got our picture taking in when  we did because a few days later it was so windy. The trees have very few blossoms left now.

 I am so lucky to live in an  area that provides us with beautiful views throughout the Seasons. It is just as beautiful during the Fall with all of the amazing burnt orange and yellow colors.
