What a fun weekend!

Firework Fun

Holly and Paige!

Well I know it has been awhile since I last posted. The reason behind the madness is that I just couldn't bear to move Dale Jr. down to the second spot. I know I'm crazy but what can I say. We have all had a really fun weekend. Yesterday was the 4th of July and we were invited by my good friend Kayla to go over to her Dad's house for a BBQ , swimming and fireworks. We all had a great time. Holly was so excited to spend so much time with her best friend Paige. Kayla's Dad and Step Mom are so nice. It just was a very fun and relaxing day. The food was great and to top the day off we had a great fireworks show! Kayla and I were talking about the rest of our weekend plans and ours both included watching the Coke Zero 400 from Daytona. Nic is a huge Dale Jr. fan too. Kayla invited us over to watch the race at their house. Nic and Kayla have a very big TV. They got it earlier this year right before racing started. Well let me tell you Chris was in heaven and this TV is beautiful. Nic also gets Direct TV Hot Pass. We had it on Dale Jr.'s live feed all night. The race was pretty good. Dale Jr. finished in the 8th position but lead the most laps. We were all sad that he ended up there but he did move up to 2nd in the points standings though. We had hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner. They were very good. Kayla made a great apple pie for dessert. So in my opinion we all had a great weekend. Nothing could be better than being able to spend time with your family and friends enjoying the wonderful freedom that we are blessed with and then being able to sit down and enjoy the absolute best sport in the world, stock car racing.
