It's that time of year again :) .............

It's that time of year again. Soccer season. This is Holly's 4th year of playing. She loves it! She was so excited when she woke up. She couldn't wait to get to the field. It was pretty hot that morning. The girls got their uniforms the morning of the game. This was the latest that we have ever gotten them. Chris went with her and I met up with them right before the game. The plan was that she would play for the first half of the game and then I had to take her over to the ballet studio. It just so happened that the Ballet company were holding auditions for The Nutcracker. Holly was playing defender. This is a position that she throughly loves to play! She gives it her all during every single second of play. her skills have developed over the years that she has been playing.

She was kicking the ball like crazy !!! She was actually pretty intense. One thing for sure is that she is not intimidated by the girls trying to score a goal.

She gets right in there and battles for the ball. If you can see the girl in the picture that is laid out on the ground, well Holly is responsible for that. She was able to get the ball away from her legally and the end result was the girl tripping up over her own feet. This whole thing made her feel pretty good!

Here she is coming off the field at halftime. It was hot and she worked like crazy so she was feeling pretty tired. She had to switch very quickly from soccer mode to ballerina mode. We are keeping our fingers crossed for her about her auditions. In the mean time we will be back at the soccer flield next Saturday. This time of year is always fun!
