Alissa's Band Awards Night!

Tonight we went to Alissa's band Awards Night. She was very excited becaue she received her block B. She has been really looking forward to getting this. She wants to get a lettermen jacket and put all of her pins and patches on it. She has earned a lot of patches and pins during her 2 years in the program. By the time she has finished her senior year the jacket will be full. Last week the band director passed out applications for Band Council. To have a chance to get on the Band Council you have to complete an application as well as choose and complete a project. Alissa sewed some very cute covers for the mallet instruments. She did a very nice job. It is a tradition at Awards Night to annouce the upcoming school year's Band Council. Mr. Price started naming the people that received postions and he named Alissa. She is very excited. She is the Percussion Rep. and is really looking forward to next season. We are very proud of Alissa for all that she has accomplished this year. She always gives 110% to the band program, even through her health problems this year she never gave less than her very best. The annual slide show was very nice. There were many pictures of both Alissa and Chris. He enjoyed helping out with the Blue Crew. Well we won't have to wait long to see what next years program has in store for Alissa.
