Well after months of endless waiting and much anticipation Scrapbook EXPO is over. It was so much fun! This year I did something different than I have ever done before. I was able to work for one of my favorite vendors, Scrapbook Corner. Cricut Dan and his wife Shelly own the store. As many of you know I am CRAZY for my Cricut machines! Well Dan asked me if I would like to work for him at the EXPO so ofcourse I said yes. I helped with the booth setup on Thursday as well as working in the booth on Friday. It was very fun. I got the opportunity to meet so many great people. It is something that I would definitely do again.

I met up with my friend Dee and we took an Early Bird class on Thursday evening and then had dinner afterwards. The class was put on by one of our favorite vendors, Quick Quotes. It was a really fun class. Dinner was good too. We cropped together on Friday night at her special table. Dee usually gets a whole reserved table and the we buy our tickets from her. Friday night it was just the two of us. It was fun.

Saturday my sister and my friend Kayla came and met up with me. It was Kayla's first EXPO so it was really exciting. I am always telling her about the EXPO's and she was really looking forward to it. We shopped for a bit and had lunch and then we had a class. It was a good class too. After class we all shopped some more. We all had a great time. That evening we all went to the crop and met up with Dee. Dee got to work on an entry for the page contest. She enjoys doing this. She worked very hard and we all liked her entry. Well she won 1st place! This made me very happy because she deserved it. Her page layout was very nice. At every EXPO some vendors usually come in during the crops and have some special deals. Well it was really funny to watch all of these people get up and start running to the tables to see what they could get a great deal on. Some people were just picking stuff up without looking at it just because it was marked down! We just waited to look at everything until they were all gone. We didn't find any deals that we couldn't live without. We were all very tiered after the crop. Kayla went up to her room but Stephanie and I had a little bite downstairs with Dee and her husband John. It was a relaxing time after such a busy weekend.

On Sunday morning I just slept until I woke up. I love the beds at the Hyatt. They are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The pillows are wonderful too. I just took my time getting ready before I had to leave to come home. It was a very wonderful EXPO. I will definitely be looking forward to the next time I get to go to one.
