Oh no am I really going to become one of "those" people....

Let me tell you about my good friend Kayla. Well several months back she got into reading a book. Now it was not just any book mind you it was a book that set her life on a different course. She fell in love with a guy named Edward. Now apparantly Edward is some really great guy. He has taken her away from her wonderful husband, Nic to this place she now lives. I think the place is called Forks. Edward is not just like any old regular guy. He is a vampire. Yes a vampire. He is suppossed to be wonderful. In case you have been living on another planet the book is called Twilight and she really loved it. So much so that she has read the sequels and been to see the movie. The movie will be coming onto DVD next month. Well today I got a special message asking me to save the date as she will be having a Twilight party. She has been wanting me to read the book so now with the upcoming party I feel I must do it. So today I went to Target and thought that I would just buy the book in paper back. When I went to the shelf I could only see the hard cover at first. I was not going to purchase the hard cover because they cost a lot more. I kind of went fishing around the shelf and was able to find one copy left in paper back. I felt a sigh of relief run over me. I thought OK I finally have this book. I hope it will make Kayla happy. I gave her a call on my way home to let her know that I had got the book. She was so excited. I told her that I would start the book later. Well a little while ago I got a phone call from Kayla wondering if I had started the book yet. I hadn't because I have been busy. I promised her that I would start it tonight though. Well I did start it and am on like the 8th page. I guess I will have to get into the book more before I can actually see if I will like it or not. I am not a big van of vampires at all but have been assured it is not a typical vampire book. It is a love story. Well I like those so I am going to give it a chance.

I am wondering if I to will turn into one of those people that have postedTwilight icons and calendars, and Team Edward icons all over thier blogs. Only time will tell I guess. Until then I will just read the pages and see what happens. Oh and in case I forgot to mention it this book has 498 pages! Hmmm I better get reading.

Why waste money on a new book? You already have a great one to read. Fleeced! If I have to, I'll throw a Fleeced party in order for you to read it. By the way, make sure to check out Brandon's Corner. It's a real doosey.

Yes, welcome to my obsession. I eat, breathe, and LIVE Twilight. I too am having a Twilight DVD release party. I haven't looked forward to something this much since high school. You have NO IDEA how obsessed I am. I've read the books four times each and saw the movie NINE times in the theater!! OCD... Obessive Cullen Disorder.
