A great day with my friends!

Well today was such a great day! A couple of weeks back I decided to set a date to have some of my friends over to scrapbook. I have been looking forward to today let me tell you. I haven't had a scrapbook day at my house for a very long time. Life happens and things always end up getting in the way. When I have these at my house we all think it is fun to do a pot luck type thing. I usually always make the main dish,as I find it easier since it is at my house. Kayla brought her fabulous ceasar salad, Denissa brought yummy brownies,we all need our chocolate fix and Kristie brought her famous little smokies! We set ourselves up and then had some food. I made enchiladas and spanish rice. We all seemed to enjoy the food. We then got down to work on our scrapbooks. No scrapbook day is complete without a lot of chit chat. Sometimes there are points when there is more chit chatting then scrapbooking but no matter what we have a great time. Here we have Kristie, Kayla and Denissa. I think that getting to spend the day with my friends is one of the best things ever. Each one of them has so many different things that I love about them. This was the first time that Denissa has been able to come. I was so happy that she was here. She even brought some of her beading to share with us. Kayla wanted to know how to actually start a bracelet so Denissa showed us. I should have taken pictures of what we all worked on but I didn't think to do that.

Kayla wore her scrapbook shirt that she got at the Scrapbook expo last summer. I usually wear a scrapbook shirt but for some reason I didn't today.

Kristie is always so much fun to see. Her smile is infectious! She was working on her sister in laws wedding pictures. She got to play around with some of my tools and really enjoyed them.

Here is a picture of Denissa. She was featured on my Fabulous Friend Friday post last time. I didn't have a picture of her to show all of you. As you can see I do now. She brought a great shirt to show me that was sent by her husband Brandon as well as a book that he says is good reading and thought I might like to read. I will read it and then let you all know what I think about it.The book is called Fleeced. Wow I will be busy reading here in the next few weeks because I will read this as well as the first Twilight book. Kayla has been telling me to read it and now I have to because she will be having a Twilight party in March after the movie comes out.

We had so much fun today. The only thing missing was my sister. She was very busy today with showers and birthday parties. Well hopefully she will make it next time. I am really lucky to have such a wonderful group of friends. They are with me through thick and thin as I am for them. I am thankful for each and every one of them.

So today was filled with great food, even better friends and lots of fun. I also had my Cricut going which always makes me smile. I can't wait until the next scrapbook day with my wonderful friends!
