Ice Tea Party Picnic!

Holly planned a special tea party for the two of us. Since the weather has been so hot lately and will reach about 107 degrees today she decided to call it an ice tea party. She set out a blanket on the floor of the living room. She even pillows down for us to sit on. She planned all of the food and insisted on doing everything by herself. She decided to serve both ice tea and lemonade. She told me we had to drink with our pinkies pointed up. So of course that is just what we did.

We also had some very special friends join us. They are some of Holly's most favorite animals.

Holly made this special sign and attached it to her shopping cart. She loaded everything into the cart and pushed it out into the living room.

She wanted these bacon wrapped little smokies so that is the only thing she let me make. They were really yummy.

She made nachos. We already had blueberry muffins so she included them on her menu.

She said we definitely needed to include animal crackers as well. Who am I to argue over animal crackers?

She put together this fabulous little treat tray. She really went all out for this special ice tea party. We sat and enjoyed the food, iced tea, lemonade and goodies together. We talked about silly stuff and laughed alot. It was a very great way to spend lunch with my very special little girl. I am so lucky to be her Mommy. She is growing much to quickly and I am sure these type of days will shoot by way too fast. I'm glad she loves to do this stuff with me.
