Celebrations!

Yesterday was a very busy day. First of all it was my 21st wedding Anniversary. It is hard to believe. Chris and Holly had their heads together early in the morning talking about secret stuff. Well they went out and bought me some See's candy and these beautiful roses. I love them. The candy kind of threw me for a loop though because I can name 3 times in my life that my husband has bought me a box of chocolates. Those three times have names, Tiffany, Alissa and Holly. Get the picture, I usually only get a box of chocolates after I have a baby so needless to say this was a really big treat. We also had a very nice lunch. Chris and Holly went and picked it up from one of our favorite restraunts. I was very busy at home cooking. It was also Tiffany's 19th Birthday! We always let the kids pick what they would like to have for dinner so Tiffany thought she would chose a homemade turkey dinner. I tried to explain to her that I would be making the turkey dinner in a few weeks. It is what she really wanted though. I got a small turkey and made that plus stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and rolls. I didn't let on though that I was going to do that. She went to school and when she came home the house was filled with the fabulous smell of baked turkey. She was really very happy and very surprised. It was worth it and dinner was yummy too. I think the nice thing about today is that we can have left overs as well as turkey sandwiches for lunch! I am also going to make homemade turkey soup. Yummy!

Tiffany wanted this jacket. We got her this jacket, some thermal pajamas and the movie pack with The Bourne Trilogy as she is really into them and also finds Matt Damon especially cute.

Holly had her last soccer game of the season this morning. She really enjoys soccer so much. We had a fun year. We look forward to next season. She does have a busy schedule coming up with her Nutcracker rehearsals so we will be busy. We will have our team party on Monday. After that we are looking forward to Thanksgiving and then our Disneyland trip. Yeah!! I just love Disneyland during the holidays! Well really I love it anytime but it is so pretty during the holiday season.
