Disney on Ice

Every year my Mom takes all of the grandchildren to Disney on Ice. This is a tradition that started when my oldest was a little girl. Tiffany and Alissa don't usually get to join us any more but the little kids love this.This year the theme was High School Musical. As you can probably imagine the girls were especially excited about this. Once we arrive at the arena we all sit down and then Grandma and a couple of the adults go and get the food. This year it was pretty easy hot dogs and nachos across the board. Sometimes people want popcorn or pretzels or whatever else might sound good. We all had a nice lunch.

The show was really fun. Everyone really enjoyed it. The boys liked anything that had to do with basketball. There was a really cool part where the basketball looked 3-D. That was a really big hit with them. Before intermission they annouced a special guest. The guest was the one and only Corbin Blue! Holly was so excited. He came out and spoke to the crowd for a few minutes. He said that he would be doing a special performance after the show. This was a really special treat because we had no idea that this was going to happen.

I looked over at Holly when he came out to perform and she was so excited! She couldn't believe he was there. She was singing and dancing along with the music. The other kids enjoyed it to. The crowd was screaming and cheering and it felt like we were at a concert. It was such a nice treat.

He was really something to see.His performance was nice. He sure can sing and dance! He has been in a couple of Disney movies and also has an album. He is a very talented young man.

Chase and Jack were like 2 peas in a pod. They were stuck together like glue the entire day. Chase sure looks up to Jack.

Faith and Olivia had so much fun too. They love to see Holly. The girls were singing and dancing when we got back to my Mom's. They were all pretending to be skating on ice.

Maddie is so funny. She now squints at the camera everytime someone tries to take a picture of her. She thinks she is making a smile. She is the cutest little girl. Holly loves to be around her. She is big enough to hold her and help her. This is really something new to her because when her other cousins were babies she wasn't big enough to really hold them. This is something she loves to do with Maddie. We were very lucky to be able to spend such a nice day together. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!
