What has been keeping my attention lately.....

Well I have been very busy lately. It all started a few weeks back when my friend Kayla told me that I needed to get a farm on FB. I thought she was crazy but she assured me it was fun. I went ahead and started a farm. I thought it couldn't be that bad considering so many of my friends were doing the very same thing. I started off with just a normal size farm lot and plowed some fields and planted some seeds. I also received many gifts from other farmer friends to help start my farm. This helps it all look nice. So here I was happy as a clam with my little farm that I had to check on once or twice day to see if it was time for me to harvest my crops. I would harvest and sell the crops to make money. I would just turn around and plow more fields and seed them so that I could harvest them when the time came. Well I went over to visit Kayla's farm one night and I couldn't see her entire farm. She had to explain to me that I needed to move the mouse around so I could see everything. She had a house and a barn and hedges and fences. I asked her about it and she told me she spends time at the marketplace and hires herself out for money. I told her she was nuts and I was fine just doing what I was doing. Then it happened. She got a pool for her farm and even more cute stuff and I thought to myself I would like to have a cute farm. Here is where the obsession begins. Keep in mind it all starts of innocently enough but then it happens, it just start to suck you in. Kayla kept talking about the market place so she went away on vacation for a few days and I thought hey why not I will see what it is all about. Once I hit the market place and got hired for my first job I just couldn't stop. I kept going back time and time again! I just kept letting my money add up. When I thought I will just be on the computer for an hour I would lose all sense of time and the next thing I knew it was four hours later! I was like a crazy person. I really mean it. But after a few days I am up to level 23 and have a lot of new stuff on my farm. I am happy to say I am OK with it now. I have a house, a barn, a pool and hedges. I also have a BBQ and a table and chairs. Oh and yes I did expand the size of my farm a couple of times as well. I now have come to the point of just checking it once or twice a day to see when it needs to be harvested.

It is a very fun game. It is one though that I will be happy to just play in moderation. It is very fun to visit my friends farms. Everyone's is different and it is interesting to see what different people do with their's. Well I am now off to do some much needed housework.
