The one and only Tim Holtz..........
What a great shirt......
I was reading one of my favorite blogs the other day, it was Tim Holtz blog. I LOVE Tim. He is truely an AMAZING artist. He can take anything and I really do mean anything and make a wonderful piece of art out of it. I have been a huge fan of his for several years. He is always busy traveling around the Country teaching classes and promoting his products. A couple months back he posted a picture of this special T- shirt that he had for CHA Winter 2008. The shirt was great. He only had a set number made and will not be making anymore and these were never sold. He was going to be giving away 10 on his blog after he returned from QVC.He posted that he was going to pick the winners after he returned and that you could post as often as you like. I thought,"Hmmm as often as I like, really?" I ended up posting probably 5 or 6 times. I didn't want him to think I was a stalker.There were over 2,000 comments from people wanting to win the t-shirt.This morning I got up and thought I will just check his blog and see. I never win anything so I was not expecting to see my name. Well to my complete surprise I WON! Oh my gosh I still can't believe it. I actually won a t-shirt form Tim Holtz himself! I am so excited. This means so much to me because like I said he is an amazing man. His talent just flows like water. He believes that there are never any mistakes just a new take on something. He always sees the possibilities. That is the theme of his shirt. So as for me today is a great day and I feel very lucky. He will be sending out the shirts when he returns to his studio on October 7th. I will be looking forward to checking the mail for the shirt. I will wear it proudly. So my thought that I would like everyone to carry with them today and always is Tims own saying, " Do you see nothing? Or do you see possibilities? " We can take that and apply it to every area of our lives, crafters or not. I hope everyone has a great day.

Congratulations on the shirt! You are so lucky....Now you can wear that shirt to the next Expo....I wonder if "anyone" will be jelous????
