The " Magnificient Eight".......

I am lucky enough to live fairly close to my parents, sister and her family and my brother and his family. I live about an hour away. It still is not very often that all of us get a chance to be together. Well this past Sunday in honor of my Dad's birthday it happened. We all got together at my parents house for dinner. It was very nice to visit with everyone. I really love to see my nieces and nephews. I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews. They are all adorable and are a blast to be around. My youngest niece just turned one. She is growing so quickly. I love to take pictures of her because she is the best participant. She is always smiling, it is almost as if she knows you are holding a camera and she needs to smile. Now the other 4 are each hams in their own way. You never know for sure exactly how they all will respond to the camera so it is always an interesting thing to see.

My Dad had a nice birthday. My brother smoked pork as well as ribs. He did a fabulous job. Everyone really enjoyed being together. The time flew by. It is always that way when you are visiting and having a great time. Well we will see them in a couple weeks and I am looking forward to it. Now my sister is not into blogs. She is paranoid of them actually. I think she is afraid that someone will track her or her kids down and do God knows what to them. She was giving me a bad time about my blog and what I post on it and all. I do not take it personally though. I just will post as I usually do. I just may not have as many pictures of her kids up but let me state that I LOVE THEM ALL THE SAME!!!!!
