42 Days and Counting!!!!!!

OK so my countdown to the Daytona 500 is on. Some of you already know this but I have really been on a countdown since the last day of the regular season. I am a HUGE die hard Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan. He rocks! I am picturing his upcoming season to be filled with lots of celebrations. I am very hopeful that the celebrating will start right out of the gate like it did last year with his victories at the Bud Shootout and the Twin 150. I am also hoping that the celebrating will continue spilling over to the Daytona 500. I am hopeful. I can't wait for the sound of those stock car engines roaring around the track, especially the Daytona International Speedway. There really is nothing like it as far as I am concerned.

Hearing the most famous words in motor sports, " Gentlemen start your engines! " really is something! I know that some of you think that I am a crazy person because of just how much I love this stuff but I am just passionate about it, not crazy. Now when I am pacing around my family room during the last 20 laps of a close race and my breathing gets a wee bit fast I am just really into it, still not crazy!

Then there is the screaming and jumping all over the place when Jr. wins! Still not crazy, just super happy!

I love his car. He has several different paint schemes throughout the year but no matter which one he is driving in on any given Sunday or Saturday night as the case may be I love it. Once the season starts it gets pretty exciting around here. Well I can't wait! I am hoping that he will have a terrific season this year. The bottom line though is that no matter what happens, win or lose, I just love to watch racing and watching him drive his car around the track is at the top of my " To Do " list every weekend.Plus there is this one other teeny weeny little thing about him, he is very cute so watching him do anything is always nice. So I am sending out all kinds of positive thoughts for a great season. I can't wait. 42 days and counting down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
