Happy New Year!

Wow what a busy year we have had! I look back at it as sort of a year in review thing. Most recently we have been so busy with Holly and her participation in The Nutcracker. It was a great experience for her. She really loved ever minute of it. The production was amazing. She is already looking forward to September when they hold auditions again. One of my favorite things of the whole year was going to Disneyland with my parents! It was such an AWESOME trip! We always love to go to Disneyland but going with them was really special. We were so lucky to have spent such a great time with them at my very favorite place on earth!

From the end of summer until the middle of Novemeber we kept busy with Holly and her soccer. She had a great time. She really enjoys playing soccer. Tiffany and ALissa had busy schedules as well. Tiffany was busy with school and work. Alissa was very busy with Marching Band.

I can't fail to mention Scrapbook Expo. I love going to these events. I was also very excited to have my good friend Kayla join me this summer. It was her first time. We were also there with my friend Dee and my sister. We all had a really nice time. I love scrapbooking and this was a great time.

I look back with great memories of The 4th of July. We were lucky enough to have been invited to my friend Kaylas Dad's house. Wow was it fun. The kids swam alot! We had tons of great food and most importantly great friends. The fireworks were so much fun too. Chris and Nic had a great time setting everything off for us.

Alissa kept very busy throughout the winter and early Spring months with her Winter Percussion. This group was great. They had a great season and lots of fun. They always performed well and took home the top awards.

I can't forget to mention all of the fun Holly has had with her cousins. They all love to play together. They have so much fun. They really enjoy playing in Grandma's back yard. They even made their own teeter totter. Holly wishes she lived closer than we do because she could spend more time with all of them.

It will soon be time again for our annual trip to Disney on Ice. My Mom takes us every year. The kids really love it. It is a big day. We have lunch there. Everyone likes different things so we have a bit of this and a bit of that. The kids really enjoy spending the day together and with Grandma. Our close friend Shirley joins us with her Grandaughter Taylor. Holly loves this too because she can spend time with Taylor.

Lat night we were at Grandma's annual New Years Eve party. We love to go to this. I help my Mom with the clean up. The party has alot of great food and good friends. Holly gets a big kick out of helping as much as she can while we are there. She helps set out the food and un wrap it. SHe helps pass out all of the hats and poppers and noise makers before midnight. The next morning she especially loves to sweep up all of the streamers that come from the poppers.

Grandma really appreciates her help. Holly feels very proud when she can help her Grandma.

Well another year is in the scrapbook and we have a whole brand new year to look forward to. I am looking forward to making more memories with my wonderful family and great friends. Thanks so much to all of you for making my life so happy. You are the best!
