Well it is the start of a brand new year. I don't know about you but for me I always try to think about things that I would like to strive for and achieve in the upcoming year. I don't really make New Years Resolutions because I don't really like how that sounds. I love to spend time crafting. Scrapbooking and sewing are at the top of my list of favorite things. There are many things that I would also like to learn so I am going to try to learn some of the things that I am interested in. To start this New Year off I wanted to show you some of this great fabric that I have and will be making into some pajama pants for my girls. Each one of my girls are into different things so I was happy to find some that fit all 3 of them.
This is some great fleece that I picked up at a great sale! I think I am going to make a couple of scarfs out of it. Isn't it so pretty and cheerful? To me it screams " HOLLY!!!"
When I saw this fabric I couldn't help but smile. I love the colors and the tiny little daisy like flower. It actually reminded me of 2 of my wonderful nieces. You never know if some pajama pants are in their future. They both love pink and yellow so no doubt this would be perfect for them if I can fit it all in.
Now you just gotta love this penguin fabric! I am going to make a matching pair for all 3 girls. It isn't often that I can make them all 3 match so here is the perfect chance. They all love penguins too. Yeah penguin fabric!!

Now this is for my oldest. She loves to play Guitar Hero so this will be just perfect for her. She has a habit of coming home from school, work or pretty much anyplace and changing into her pajama pants. I am sure she will find these especially comfy.

Tiffany also loves baseball. She is just like I was with this sport. The one major difference is in our choice of teams. My team is the A's and hers in the Red Sox. She loves them so much. I can just picture her in my mind watching her favorite team in these pajama pants.

Now Alissa is my music girl. She is all about the mirimba and the vibes. She eats, sleeps and breathes music. When I saw this fabric I just knew I had to have it to make her some pajama pants. She is also like her sister and loves to wear them all around the house.

She is also very much into purses so this was a must have as well. She loves her Dooney's and her Coach purse. She takes very good care of them. They are like her babies. I know she will love these once I get them made.

Now for my pirate. Yes, most of you know I actually have a pirate of my own. Hurricane Holly is her name and pirateering is her game. She takes much pride in the fact that she is a real life pirate ( pirate reinactor ) She is the first person to spot a Jolly Roger on anything anytime anywhere! When I came across this I had to get it. She will love to lounge around watching her Pirates of the Caribbean movies wearing these I tell you!

Last but not least I saw this when I was with Holly and she flipped for it! I went back later and got it. I will have the happiest pirate alive once these are finished.

I know..I know..if only there were a few more hours in the day! There are so many things that I want to do to, one is definitely scrpbooking together :)
Hope you feel better..hugs
Im loving all the fabric and would also like a pair of p.j. pants....just add it to your list....ha! ha! just kidding! I hope we can set up a scrapbooking day soon, i have been missing it terribly!!
Love the fleece patterns you picked. Guess great minds think alike and all that. I did fleece scarves for all three kids, the in-laws, and some other people. Hadn't done it before, but it was nice and easy. Never thought about doing lounge pants. Usually I'm sewing curtains, bedding, etc. Maybe I'll do something like that for Christmas next year, sounds like it wouldn't be too hard. Good luck with getting it all done. Shonna.
