Fabulous Friend Friday!

I am so lucky to have such a fabulous group of friends. I am very thankful for all of them. I decided to start a Fabulous Friends Friday post. This is a little way that I can share with you how much I appreciate my friends. I am starting this off with my very good friend Kayla. Kayla is married to Nic and they have 3 beautiful girls. She is an amazing Mom. She is also a great day care provider for two little boys. We met a few years ago when her oldest daughter and my youngest daughter started Kindergarten. We always enjoyed talking while we were dropping off the girls and picking them up. Our friendship progressed and so did the girls. Holly and Paige became best friends. We were sad after the First Grade because they had to change schools to the brand new one that opened just by their house. I went through withdrawls of not seeing Kayla everyday. Holly had a far worse time than I did. Kayla and I started talking on the phone instead of in person. I found out early on that Kayla shared a love of mine, scrapbooking. I really liked this because everyone always needs to have a friend that shares their hobby. I am lucky that I have several friends that love to scrapbook. Well Kayla is the most up to date scrapbooker that I have ever known! First let me tell you that she is very organized which is a plus with this hobby. Last year her husband built her a great scrapbook area! Get ready for this next fact about my friend. She has also completed like 43 albums! Yes you read it right. Now she will be the first person to tell you that her albums are very simple. I don't care simple or not that is still an amazing feat! Here she sits at her special area and look above her at all of those scrapbooks. Wow! She is my inspiration!



She came to my house nearly 2 years ago for a big scrapbook day. I had lots of people here and some of them were interested in this new machine I had. Kayla was one of them. I had just got a new Cricut machine. I LOVE this little bug! Kayla loved it too. Well just about a week or so later I found out that there was a big sale on them somewhere so I naturally phoned her to tell her about it. Well the next morning she had Nic drive her over to the store and she got one. Yeah, yeah, yeah! We love our Cricuts! I then told her about a sale on the cartridges which of course she had to take advantage of. I used to say " Oh boy Nic isn't going to let you play with me anymore." Well we laugh at that now because Nic and my husband are into racing with their Playstations nearly every week and that keeps them busy.



There are so many things about Kayla that make her fabulous. She has a great family that always makes us feel welcome. She is a kind person who has a great sense of humor. I am so lucky to have her as a friend. I just wanted to share that with you all.
