Jack's First Communion

We spent time with all of the cousins over the weekend. It was Jack's First Communion. In the area that they live the kids are still allowed to make First Communion in the second grade. Where we live the kids have to wait until the third grade to make thier First Communion. Holly will be making hers in a few weeks. We all had a nice day. Jack looked so handsome in his slacks, shirt and tie. I do not have a picture of him dressed that way though. It was hectic at the church and then at home the kids all got right into playing. I was able to snap this picture of him on his swing. He is getting so grown up. It is hard to believe that he is old enough to make his First Communion. Chase is never far from Jack's side. He really looks up to Jack and wants to do exactly what his cousin is doing. So they were both having a blast on the swings!

The girls were also having fun. They enjoy hanging out together as well. It was raining at first but as soon as the rain stopped they were all out in the back yard playing.

Then of course we have little Miss Maddie. She loves to follow all of the kids around. She keeps up with them pretty well too. She likes to sit with the adults also. She is such a sweetheart! This girl never fails to bring a smile to my face. I mean really, look at her couldn't you just kiss her all over?

Here we have Olivia and Faith. It was lunch time and they were getting in on the food action.

We really enjoyed our day. It was a very nice thing to watch Jack receive his First Communion. The day went by so quickly and before we knew it it was time to go home. Family time is always something that we look forward to.
