I thought it would be fun to go to the Pumpkin Patch today. Holly has really been wanting to go to this particular pumpkin patch by our house. On the weekends they have a horse pulled wagon ride with some western entertainment. Alissa had to finish her homework so she wasn't able to go with us. Tiffany went with us for awhile. We looked around for a bit and went through a couple of mazes but then she needed to get home. We dropped her off and then we went back. Holly really enjoyed looking around at all of the pumpkins.
She took her time making sure to check them ALL out. Decisions, decisions, decisions. It was alot of fun just walking around looking at the pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. I couldn't believe it buit there were people that were getting these huge pumpkins. They were $20.00 each! I really like the look of these fairytale pumpkins. They are also reffered to as Cinderella pumpkins. They came in beautiful colors. I might make my way back over there one day when Holly is in school and pick up one of them. The different shapes and textures are very nice.

Holly found some very nice pumpkins. She wanted to find a wagon and fill one up. I had to tell her she couldn't do that though.

The decision making was hard for her. She found so many that caught her eye. She wanted to find one and paint it in the craft booth. I let her pick one to paint and then one to take home with us today. I told her that I would bring her back and she could pick a couple more for her Birthday Party next week. She thought that was a neat idea.

She was cracking me up at how serious she was taking this whole thing. She wanted to make sure she picked just the right ones. She was in deep thought. We went through each and every row several times until she made her choice.
The mazes were fun. There was one that was very dark and at first she was scared. After we went through it she was excited and kept going through it. The other maze was open and it was alot of fun too. We went on a horse pulled wagon ride. They had western entertainment aboard as well. During our ride one of the cast told us we were carrying a bag of gold. At one point the wagon was held up by a group of 3 masked men. Soon after we were held up we ran into the Sheriff. He found the bandits and a gunfight broke out. This was really neat. I love wild west stuff. Holly really enjoyed it too. This pumpkin patch will definitely be on our list of places to go again. It was a great way to spent the afternoon with Holly.

She looked so serious! Too cute :)
That sounds like a great pumpkin patch, it is amazing how expensive they can be though. Sometimes it is almost cheaper to get them at the store, but its not nearly as fun!
Glad that you had a nice day with the girls. I need to take the boys this week. Have a great week! Can't wait to see who wins the quilt tomorrow :)
